Many of us don’t know that you can plant a tree in a pot rather than just going straight for the ground.

There are several advantages and it really depends on the end goal that you have set for the tree.

For example, if you’d like to have a smaller tree that is also mobile (you can move it around) it’s perfect to plant it in a pot. Generally, fruit trees get potted as well as ones that are more rare.

I’d definitely recommend it, unless it’s going to be a part of your home’s landscape. Ever see 40 foot oak trees next to someone’s home? Those were meant to stay there, in the beginning.
