Reason for this ? Although some stores representative are not paid on commission, the reality is that many of them are and they will try to get you to purchase the most expensive one as well as offer you most often a plan to expand your waranty. So knowing what you wish to do with the camera, you might be able to spend less. For example, when looking for a camcorder, why would one purchase the high-end one that allows filming in HD if your televisions at home - those on which you will be showing your movies - are not even in HD. You would be spending money for a feature that you would never have the chance to use. So before buying, make a list of what you want to do and what options or features you would like to have.

Now for the people looking for a video surveillance system, many companies know offer different types of spy cameras and hidden cameras to help you protect your businesses. These cameras come in all shapes and sizes and, again, offer a wide variety of options. So again the best advice would be to check the Internet and list what you would like to have in a security camera system in order to have one that suits your needs.
