Yahoo! Inc. is an American Internet services company that was founded by Jerry Yang and David Filo in January 1994. Its headquarters are located in Sunnydale, California. It operates an Internet portal and provides many services such as Yahoo! mail or Yahoo! Directory.

Yahoo! Mail is a free webmail service. It is the largest email provider on the Internet. Starting in May 2007, Yahoo! Mail will give to all its users an unlimited amount of email storage.

As for the Yahoo! Directory, it offers two submission options: the standard one, which is free, and Yahoo! Express, which involves a submission fee. The directory service is searchable separately from the serach engine results.

Yahoo! Weather is a service which provides you the temperature of all cities in the world.

Yahoo! Messenger is a free instant-messaging client that can be downloaded on Yahoo! website. It uses a generic Yahoo ID which also allows accesses to other services such as Yahoo! Mail for example. Yahoo! Messenger offers PC to PC telephone, file transfers, webcam hosting, text messaging service and chat rooms.
