An xbox video game is a game that can be played on Microsoft's "Xbox" gaming console. Microsoft released the console in November 2001. There are thousands of different video games for xbox that have been created since that date. Major electronic stores such as Best Buy and Future Shop usually have large quantities of xbox games for sale. Smaller stores usually have cheap xbox games to offer for those who don't have much money to spend.

A special aspect of the xbox is called xbox live. Xbox live arcade games enable players to play against other people over the internet. Although sometimes players use game cheats for xbox that diminish the good gameplay experience for other players, xbox live usually gets good reviews from its users.

In 2006, Microsoft released a new gaming console, called xbox 360. Xbox 360 game reviews exclaim that the graphics have been highly improved on this console. Early reviews also say that "Gears of War", "Dead Rising", "Burnout Revenge" and "Project Gotham Racing 3" are some of the best xbox 360 games on the market so far. What's interesting about the the xbox 360 is that xbox games are compatible with it. This means that people can purchase classic xbox games for xbox 360 use.

Microsoft have immerged themselves into the video gaming world with the xbox and it looks like they will be top contenders in this industry for a long time.

I think the Xbox is good but now with the BlueRay i prefer the PlayStation 3.
