Wrapping skills are necessary whether it is for a birthday, baby shower or Christmas gift wrapping. A box is easy. Just measure, tape, crease and tape some more, Right sounds easy. Since not all of us have a built in wrapping machine in our brains, lets go over a few quick tips on how to wrap a gift.
Step one is to roll out the wrapping paper on a flat surface then take you item place it on the paper. Turn it over so you will know how much paper you will need to cut. After cutting the paper, place the item in the center of paper and bring up the largest section and tape to the gift, if you tape it to the paper your item will slide around making more difficult to wrap. Now bring up sides and crease them so they lay flat, if you have a lot of paper hanging over cut it off so that the ends lay flat, then tape in place.
Christmas wrapping paper comes in a lot of colors and designs so choose a few different one for nice touch. Sometimes, however, you want a little more flash on your present then just paper so here is a good Christmas gift wrapping idea. You can buy a cheep pack of mini tree ornaments and add them to the presents with ribbon, you can also wrap several different size boxes all going to the same person and stack them together and tie with a nice ribbon to hold them in place. One other idea is to use 2 different Christmas wrapping paper on one present for a new geometric design. Regardless there is no wrong way to do it so enjoy, it is the thought that counts.
