The big day has finally come... it is your wedding. And, naturally, you would want your wedding photographs to look the best - which is why you hired a professional weddingphotographer.
So your professional wedding photographer will most likely give you the usual wedding gallery photos - cake, bride and groom, parents, etc... But have you ever though of getting more, shall we say, "on the spot" pictures?
This is were the guests come in. I have seen weddings where at every table at the reception we had one or two disposable wedding cameras. Guests were asked to take all sort of candid pictures throughout the evening and leave the cameras is a small basket near the head table when the roll of film was over. This is a way to have multiple surprises when you develop the pictures as you have absolutely no idea what is on them - some might be good, others will be bad and some, well, you will not want anyone to know about the picture.
Another way would be to go the digital wedding photography road. Once at the reception, asks your guests who have digital cameras if they can provide you with copies of what they took. You might end up with multiple copies of you kissing your spouse but you will most likely have the opportunity to see different angles. Who knows, some of them might turn out better than your professional photographer.
So making your wedding photo gallery album can consist of only the picture from the people you hired or can be a treasure trove good and candid memories. The choice is yours.
Have fun designing!
