Vampire legends and stories have been told for many centuries, but the most famous vampire story, Dracula, was written about two hundred years ago and yet this type of vampire book is still popular today.
This dark age story has fascinated people of all ages, so much that several movies and tv series have been made in reference to vampires. Some people consider Dracula as the hero of the story and yet others identify with the vampire slayer van helsing.
Hollywood has also been fascinated with dracula and other vampire stories that have come from the old Dracula movie. Remember the movie interview with the vampire? The other day while flipping through the channels my husband came across a show about a psychic vampire. What will they think of next? And of course, the movie industry has made everything associated with these vampire movies into memoriabilia. Just the other day, there was a buffy the vampire slayer episode guide for sale on ebay. can you believe it? It all has to do with marketing. You must have noticed that, vampire movies seem to have a resurgence once halloween time comes around, that's probably why vampire teeth are so popular that time of year.
The only real problem with all of this vampire stuff is that the poor vampire bat has gotten a poor rap. Most people have acquired this great fear of the vampire bat, when it's just a poor bat that feeds itself off of rodents.
