Travelling to Paris is of course discovering history and culture.

With it's big boulevards, all the bridges, monuments, it's sellers of sandwiches, Paris seems to be so familiar. The cinema and litterature made us discover Paris. We made the picture in our head of the lighted city who is most of the time right. And we loved it on the spot!

Paris is, children in the gardens, it's the lovers who kisses on the street bench just as Brassens sang it. Paris is passing people who talks on a terrace or a coffee shop, it's artists on the pier. Paris is also people who goes to the market. They fill up their basket of fruits and vegetables, of flowers. Paris is everyday life and traditions.

You have to walk in the city without trying to understand, you have to wander and let your instinct guide you. You have to observe, feel the flow.

Walking in the streets of Paris is to go meet it's people, it's history and it's uncommon places.
