"Tuut... Tuut...", "All aboard!..." How many times have we done this as a child when we were given a small train set as a gift to play with.
Nowadays, children have different type and models of train set to play with, ranging from the old wooden train set to the latest technology... Each have their own users.
The wooden train sets are probable one of the first we tend to purchase for our child. The reason is that these toy train set are durable and can endure a great deal of playing from a small child - plus they are a lot safer should the child decide to eat his train set (no small parts).
As they get older, they tend to go from the wooden to the more elaborate electric train set. Now these model train set allow you to customize and expand your layout section by section, thus permitting you to keep it as small or as large as you wish.
So if you're looking for a train set, whether it be a wooden or even a newer model train set, hobby stores are most likely your best bet to find one that will suit your needs and budget and will please your child.
Have fun playing!
