When on an interview with Tori stone she confessed a real passion for stones. She expressed the following: Have you ever really looked at natural stone? Remember the old movie stone mountain? Stones always bring some kind of interesting connotation with them and create images of cabins, creeks and the wilderness. Objects that you find in nature can be used in small relaxation exercises or, moments of meditation, and are done by using your imagination, as in the following example. Close your eyes and imagine a small cabin set in a mountain valley. Imagine the stone fireplace in the early morning hours. Imagine the warm glow emanating from the stone within the cabin. As you walk out through the wooden door of the cabin, walk from one small stepping stone to the other until you reach the natural stone bench of a creek. The water in the creek so clear that you can see the stones beneath and they are so bright that they seem like semi precious stones, or gem stones glowing in the sunlight. Imagine sitting on the cabin porch and reading your favourite magazine. Something likes the rolling stone magazine, where you can relive the rolling stone era. This type of imaginary exercise done with stones, water, or even green fields can help you relieve tension, and return to work or other duties with a fresher mindset.
