The next top model is a reality television show created by Tyra Banks where people complete one against another in order to win a $100,000 modeling contract offered by Cover Girl. Three events usually take place during one episode: the challenge, the photoshoot and the elimination.

America's next top model is hosted by Tyra Banks and contestants are judged by Twiggy, Nigel Barker and Jay Alexander. America's Next Top Model Cycle 6 was won by CariDee English in 2006.

Canadas next top model is the Canadian version of the american show. It started on May 31, 2006 on Citytv and it is still running as of today. The Cycle 2 will begin on May 30, 2007 and the judges will be Jay Manuel, Jeanne Baker, Paul Venoit and Stacey McKenzie. The winner of Cycle 1 was Andrea Muizelaar and she won a modeling contract with a model agency, a $100,000 beauty contract and an editorial spread in Fashion Magazine.

Britains next top model airs on Mondays at 9 pm. It is broadcasted on LIVINGtv. Lianna Fowler was the winner of the first edition of this reality television show.
