Anyone who has ever been in the teaching field knows how challenging it can be in all of its perspectives. Teaching is not just having to deal with kids but also deal with the requirements that the school district sets. So you have the administrative requirements as well as the teaching requirements. And what people don't realize is that a teachers salary just doesn't amount to much when you actually see all of the obligations a teacher has. No wonder so many things fall through the cracks and unfortunatly a good teacher is sometimes not a good administrator and a good administrator is not often a good teacher. Thats why good teachers are really hard to come by, because they have to be administrators and teachers within the public school system. high school teachers are in a worse situation becuase they also have to be counselors, parents, and deal with security issues as well. A good teacher has to find a way to follow all administrative guides and the teachers guide and find ways to interest the students as well. It is so important to catch a students interest and make him want to learn. Even art teachers and piano teachers have to make their classes interesting for their students.
