Known for thousands of years, tea truly became part of people's life. With its wide variety of flavors, and aromas, it is used for all sorts of purposes. A popular type would the herbal tea, known for its relaxant, and sedative effects. Chamomile tea, and Catnip are quite famous for these effects. But other types of herbal tea exist as well, like the Echinacea known to help prevent, and alleviate cold, and flu symptoms. There's also the Jasmine tea, believed to help prevent certain cancers. Other types of tea are also quite popular among people. There's the Oolong tea, known, and appreciated world wide, with its unique sweet, and pleasant after taste. It can be served with food, and add a little something to the meal. Another well known tea would be the Black tea, also referred as the Red tea because of its color when prepared. It can be served plain or with milk just like coffee. The White tea, another famous type, comes in various flavors, and aromas. From a fruity taste to a sweet honey one, White tea can be quite enjoyable. No matter what one's tastes are, there's a type of tea for everyone.
