Is very convenient to have a credit card, We can find differents card in the market, each bank have their own credit card. You can apply for credit on the internet or directly in the bank.
The american express card is the only one who has two differnt type of cards, the credit card and the service card. The difference between them is that with the credit card you can make parcial payments meanwhile the service card you have to paid in full your balance, also exist the american express credit or line of credit, this is kind of new. Amex does not have a credit card for students.

There are different canadian student credit cards, this card there where created to help the students to start building their credits. The credit cards for students some times the interest rate is expensive but this depends of the bank and type of card.
For example we can find the student visa credit card, visa is one of the three companys that manage the credit cards world wide.The student visa cards is accepted in almost everywhere.

Capital one card is a card that depending on your credit is the interest rate you are going to receive.
