The stroller evolved from the english pram which has been used since the victorian era. Eventually they became what we now know as the stroller. A stroller diferentiates itself from a carriage in that they have the child sitting up and facing forward.
Since the invention of car seats, there have been many innovations to the stroller. Today we have all kinds of varietys of strollers Since people have started exercising the stroller has evolved to meet their needs. Im sure everyone has seen the twin strollers, which are made for two children of similar age, or even the jogger strollers. These are made so they adult can jog and continue pushing the children in the stroller. There are also different types of umbrella strollers with different types of umbrellas that help protect children from harmfull sun rays. There is also an instep jogging stroller that is used for people that jog or walk.
Fisher price has certainly changed from its inception.It used to be that when you went baby shopping, you bought a stroller, a crib, and a high chair. Today baby shopping of the 1950's has evolved into whole department stores with every type of stroller, high chair, car seat imaginable, and crib imaginable.
