Real vs imaginary:
There is more hope for people with schizophrenia than 20 or 30 years ago. That’s due to better medications, more research, greater awareness and support. It is a biologically based brain disease that seriously impairs a person’s ability to think clearly and relate to others. When left untreated can have difficulty in distinguishing between what is real and what is imaginary and is often unresponsive and withdrawn.
Broken chain:
Of course there is no “good” time to have Scizophrenia , but if ever there was a time to be diagnosed , the time is now. A self help support group for people with schizophrenia, “there is more hope now than before for recovery because people can, and do, recover to their potential”. World schizophrenia day and shizophrenia society honor the work of Dr.Phillipe. He was a major figure in the early effort to provide humans treatment for shizophrenia.
Objective mind:
By having hope we can reduce the painful and unnecessary stigma that schizophrenia people faces. Is shizophrenia people are restrained to walls by chains? Are you horrified to see it? Psychatric doctors take bold and unprecedented move to remove the chain from the point. We should provide human care for the schizophrenia people. Try to understand the meaning of their lives. Every day is a day; give an opportunity to serve the fellow human beings. Let us work for their betterment!
