Shipment has a very long history and composes a quite important part in the human life. Up to now, there are mainly three ways to do the shipment, which are vehicle shipment, maritime shipment, and freight shipment. Among them, the charge of the maritime shipment is the lowest, and the air shipment is the fastest. As time goes on, more and more people choose courier as the way to deliver their small goods such as documents, jewllery, or other valuable things because courier is fast and safe though the charge of fee is quite high. There are several international courier companies worth to be mentioned, which are DHL, UPS, FEDEX, TNT, etc. Courier has many advanges including door to door service, shipment tracking, arriving in time and on time. Along with the development of internet, tracking a shipment becomes more and more convenient and reliable, for example, UPS shipment tracking service. Though cargo shipment is entering a new era, container shipment is still unreplacable because of its low cost. And the increasing world economy has pushed the development of international shipment dramatically.
