Elmo sesame street is just one of the themes we are talking about here today. I wanted to take this time to pay homage to sesame Street. Lord knows that a lot of us grew up with sesame street toys in our closets. Heck, I even went so far as to have a sesame street party once.
Now, in this day and age, with technology at it's finest. You can play sesame street online games! A lot of people loved big bird, I liked him but my absolute favourite sesame street character was Oscar the grouch! I kid you not! He was crabby but he was cute.
My girlfriend's son loves sesame street so much that she bought him sesame street bedding! She even bought him the sesame street dvd. He also spends a lot of time watching sesame street videos!
What can you say about it? It has been with us for years and I am sure that the sesame street game will be popular for years to come. That is also true of sesame street toys. I don't think it will ever end.

Day 196 of 365: a year in songs and photos
Song: Sesame Street, Ladybugs' picnic
I was at a nursery today and was surprised to learn that you could buy a tub of refrigerated, live ladybugs. So I spent ten dollars just so I could bring them home and set them free. And take pictures of them.
The whole way home, I sang Ladybugs' Picnic to myself. This was always one of my favorite Sesame Street song.
I was seven years old when Sesame Street debuted. I never lost my love for it, and was always thankful for a little sister and then younger cousins I could watch it with. My own kids loved the show, too - they outgrew it just about the time it started to change. You know, when Elmo became this megalomaniac with his own agent and they introduced too many new characters and spin off shows and the old lovable characters like Super Grover were forgotten about.
My favorite bits were always the number songs - the seven alligator sons, the number nine martian cutie - but I also am very fond Ernie and Bert duets (I say Ernie and Bert - you say Bert and Ernie. I am right. You are wrong), Cookie Monster singing If Moon Were Cookie, Grover the Waiter, I Love Trash, Near and Far, Captain Vegetable, Roosevelt Franklin, the Yip Yip guys, a loaf of bread, Put Down the Ducky, teeny little super guy, and of course, the pinball number count....and yea, I could go on. I just spent the last hour watching Sesame Street videos on youtube.
One two three
Four five six
Seven eight nine
Ten eleven twelve
Ladybugs
Came to the ladybugs' picnic
One two three
Four five six
Seven eight nine
Ten eleven twelve
And they all played games
At the ladybugs' picnic
They had twelve sacks so they ran sack races
And they fell on their backs and they fell on their faces
The ladybugs 12
At the ladybugs' picnic
They played jump rope but the rope it broke
So they just sat around telling knock-knock jokes
The ladybugs 12
At the ladybugs' picnic
One two three
Four five six
Seven eight nine
Ten eleven twelve
And they chatted away
At the ladybugs' picnic
They talked about the high price of furniture and rugs
And fire insurance for ladybugs
The ladybugs 12
At the ladybugs' picnic
12!

Went through some old files and I just had to post something.
Going back to college tomorrow. I wish I don't have to. The orientation week last week was ok. Of course, I had MC for two days. Laugh people laugh! Yes, I was sick on the second day there. I missed a few things...well, a lot actually. Due to my problem to show up on the second and third day of orientation, I've missed the opportunity to join the editorial board. But other than that, I couldn't care less. Gah! I'm the most un-spirited student at the college. Bite me!
So, I 'balik kampung' for the weekend. It's funny to actually use the term 'balik kampung'. Owh and the sentence 'I need to do the laundry, let's do the laundry!'. Hahaha...
p.s: I miss God's male creature! It's been a while since I last had a human-to-human contact with them! Gah! Bite me! *Hahaha
