Don't feel afraid if you don't know much about another culture. You're never too old to learn about another culture (for example I'm learning more and more these days about the Haudanashonee-Iroquois People-) and another people's history.
Taking a look around the many schools I've been in and classes, I see that far too many teachers do not know their students' background cultures very well, and/or do not have a diverse group of friends (this more so in the university atmosphere).
If you are one that does have a diverse group of friends and uses multicultural education, than God bless ya! There needs to be more like you! : )

Part II: Black People (focusing mainly on African Americans-Black Americans)

Part III: The Ignored Europeans/Whites: Eastern Europeans, Gypsies, Mediterraneans, White Women- Along with the Reason of *NOT* Needing a White History Month. White Americans and White Europeans are very different from each other culture wise.
Part IV: Asian Americans
Part V: Arab Americans
Part VI: Jewish Americans
Part VII: Latino Peoples
