Rust is one of the very few problems we have not been able to solve, rust is very similar to cancer, it is something that when it starts it is very difficult to stop, rust grows exactly like cancer and spreads just as fast, one should be very careful in not letting it spread too much or the object that is corroded will be a complete loss.
Now we have had many different methods and products to help fight this increasing rust problem over the years, like a rust converter a product which is design to act just like a primer, it will change the top layer of the rust in a hard ready to paint surface which only mask the problem, rust removers which are supposed to remove completely the rust and some do work but very few are able to eliminate the actual rust on a microscopic level and we are left with the rust treatment, everyone that lives in an environment subject to high corrosion for salt air or hard winters will know exactly what these treatments cost and what they promise to do, some of them actually are very helpful and do protect for some time our vehicles from corrosion.
It is a wounder and a question that should be raised as to why do we spend so much time on trying to mask this problem and not eliminate it once and for all, there are products available that help us and there are many surface preparation methods that can be used to help us protect our investments, ask yourself why spend time on repairs when there is a cure.
