Shaving is an epilation technic that cuts all the hair that you don't like on your body. You can shave your beard, your armpit, your legs and not to forget intimate parts. Before the venue of the iron shaver, the razors were made of silex, bronze and even gold. The "coupe-choux" razor date since 1680, the razor blade since 1895 and the first electric razor in 1928.

There's two types of razors. First there's the humids ones who need lubrificant (shaver gel). Just like the manual razor. Some professional hairdressers are still using it today. It's losing in popularity because of the risk of cutting yourself and that it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to shave with it. The security razor also is part of the humids razors. It's an interchangeable razor blade that lower the chances of cutting yourself. When they want to buy a razor a lot of people are going for that kind of razor.

Secondly, there's the dry razors. You use these ones directly on your skin. Those are the electric razors for man and women. They cut your hair automatically with their elctrical power. There's a lot of competitionon the market: braun, philips...
