What are quizzes? The Oxford dictionary defines a quiz as: a test of knowledge, especially between individuals or teams as a form of entertainment; an interrogation, examination, or questionnaire.
Today, we seem to have quizzes for everything, and I mean everything, and you don’t need to be in school to be quizzed! Haven’t you ever taken one of those magazine quizzes, or an online quiz? Subjects ranging from what’s you favourite show to what kind of girlfriend or boyfriend are you? Sometimes I pass them with flying colors and others, well, I don't do so well.
How about the personality test, the one that tells you if you are a total pushover or a romantic person. The quizzes I adore most and which seem to attract more people are those love quizzes, the ones that tell you if you are a passionate love or a frigid depandant, or if you’re compatible with your partner, and so on.
The quizzes that most pre teen and teenagers have fun with are the movie trivia quizzes or the favorite celebrity quizzes. These quizzes ask for knowledge on a particular movie, like for example, the Harry potter quizzes. Or the quiz that asks: "How much do you know about Hillary duff." This type of quiz has been popular for ever; I remember enjoying them as far back as when love story was a popular movie.
