The Organisation Structure of a Production Company
The majority of companies in the world are production companies because without production, the world would be barely empty. A well organized production company must have an organization structure that spells out the hierarchy of management of the company. Within the organization structure is the production manager, his/her assistant, the marketing manager and his subjects, the production engineer and his subjects, who include technicians and other control engineers.
Role of the Production Manager
The production manager is responsible for the overall welfare of the company, from the production plant itself to the labour force. The management of a company for household products is not necessarily the same as for an energy audit company for example, even the law governing the two companies is different for each company. Because of the health and environmental problems the world is facing today the law is becoming stricter on the companies for products like household products, beverages and food products.
Oil, Gas and Makeup Production
More emphasis is put on those for oil and gas production because they involve processes some of whose end products are dangerous to human health and others affect the ozone layer. In this case laws have been put in place to cater for waste management in every production company. It gets more serious with companies which deal in makeup products, there are products that work well on the skin of a human being but yet have adverse effects. Most of these makeup products have long term effects that one cannot realize a few weeks after application of the product.
