The human history has its shape due the political interference in relations among individuals across the time. The politics (whose more important tool are - should be - ethics) touches human spirits much more than what bumper stickers may say. Politics are the norms for human coexistence and the fundamental ground for any civilization. The history of societies is, certainly, not the same, but every case has to do with the politics which design social and economic life.
The United States are an example from both what shall and what shall not be done in terms of international politics, and the White House represents just an administrative turn. During his administration Bill Clinton has proceeded according to some political normatives, president Bush has done so the last 8 years and the international politics have shaped the recent history of the world on a way that is difficult to reckon, but that is easily recognizable.
Politics are the key to understanding among nations, and politicians must find ways of cooperation, as well as law instruments that are suitable with the present in order to construct the bases of future civilizations. Politics have been always a core part of society, and the latter can’t exist without politics, which is the legitimation of our culture institutions: trade, industry, civil life, family, marriage... Politics should be something that interest all of us, not just politicians.
