Pokemon started off as a japanese manga which was later adapted for american television and afterwards became board games, pokemon game boy and pokemon trading cards.
But what if someone wanted to purchase rare pokemon cards, where could they go online ? The answer is quite simple : The GamingEtcStore (http://www.gamingetcstore.com).
This store not only sells pokemon cards, it also has many other styles such as Yu Gi Oh cards. But the main attraction of the site is that you can buy many pokemon cards of different styles such as Jungle, Gym Challenge, Neo, etc...
But what if one wanted to price his collection, then I would suggest going to this site http://www.pojo.com/priceguide/prices.html
This site will offer a good retail value of all the pokemon card prices.
And remember, many other sites, such as eBay (www.ebay.com), may also offer better prices. You need to do the research in order to know what you card is worth and what you should expect to pay for those rare cards.

Like very expensive wine or electronics I found this locked showcase full of yu-gi-oh, pokemon and other action cards at a mall at Augsburg. There are so many different cards systems on the market. Incroyable!
