Had a great EARLY breakfast with dead_squid ( I had dropped hubby off at 6:45 for day surgery, poor bugger) and then headed off to see the tulip festival. That early in the day (8:50ish) it was me and a busload of seniors - totally quiet and peaceful.
I just feel like there is so much going on
(started the day today - and actually ended the day yesterday - very cranky and weepy, which I guess I am chalking up to hormones...)that spending a few hours in quiet recollection among "Screaming Parrots" and "Mounties" was just what I needed ( those are tulips, btw, not just my friends and their pets;)).
