To be an accredited online university, every aspiring institution must go through a paperwork, submit itself to a battery of questions and tests before being declared fit.
Online courses at the university are avalaible at any moment on the internet; so that students who missed interactions with the teacher could at least get a precise idea of the contents of the course. It is possible now to get an university degree online but this takes much more time than the ordinary pattern because of the very fact that online students are often also busy somewhere else.
The university of alberta online is not quite up and running yet and need to complete the installation of its equpment and convince faculty to be part of thi new endeavor. Online canadian university is an establishment similar to the American University created by the United States government; therefore supported primarily by it.
Guelph university proved to be more innovative than its more powerful counterparts in Ontario by creating this program.
