Every classic auto trader knows that classic car auctions attract not just curious young men, but sometimes rich family representatives that have been hired in the name of some multimillionaire woman or man, persons that go to the auctions in order to find new toys for his or her employer. As a matter of fact, antique car auctions are not a good place to look for a nice oldy if you – ‘an ordinary man or woman’ – desire to buy one, because, well, an antique car auction gather car collectors that are prepared to offer several thousands dollars, maybe some more, for an old car.
But to say ‘old car’ is a bit unfair. The design are probably old-fashioned, and this cars have engines that auto industry doesn’t use since decades, of course. Nevertheless they function as if they where new, and, in some way, they seem new, because everytime (if that’s the case, because sometimes these cars have never been repaired, and are in perfect order) something broke, there was at hand a little but well established antique car parts market, that supplies original classic car parts for almost every type and car make.
So, if you want to buy an old car do ask a classic car dealer for it. Sometimes luck smile to whom searches to find it, and the Internet may be the best place to look for an oldy. Sometimes there’re families that have had the same old car during decades, and they, decide to sell it. Perhaps that car would need some mechanic attendance and a little care, but, once fixed, you would enjoy your own classic...
