Ocean City, Maryland is one of my favorite places. From the beaches to the seafood, there is always something to do in Ocean City. An Atlantic Ocean resort city, it is a frequent destination for visitors and those vacationing. Also known as Fenwick Island, the Ocean City inlet runs to the Indian River in Delaware. If you are considering a trip to Ocean City, Maryland or Ocean City, New Jersey, the one thing you are interested in is where to stay. There are plenty of boardwalk hotels in either location.
Ocean City motels in New Jersey have three and four star ratings. The Coral Sands Motel in ocean City NJ is close to the boardwalk and a friendly staff. The Sifting Sands Motel touts friendly staff and personnel and pretty nice accommodations. Other motels in the area offer the same amenities at a reasonable cost than staying at one of the name brand hotels in the area.
Ocean City MD hotels are plentiful with many places to choose from. The Admiral Hotel is just one block away from the boardwalk and offers efficiencies and poolside rooms. The Stowaway Grand Hotel Ocean City has positive reviews and rooms with refrigerators and microwaves. All of their rooms are oceanfront and the hotel itself is located within walking distance of several restaurants. Other hotels in Ocean City offer many of the same amenities and friendly staff.
Other Ocean City Maryland hotels include the Atlantic House Bed & Breakfast, the American Motor Inn, the Sea Breeze Motel, Buckingham Hotel. You can check the Internet for the various websites and discount information. During the summer vacation season you can usually find deals for two or more rooms and discounts on area attraction tickets.
Either Ocean City, whether in Maryland or New Jersey offers rentals for vacationers that are staying for more than a few days. Many rentals are homes or condominiums and are sometimes cheaper than staying at the area hotels and motels. An Ocean City rental can range from $500 to $1000 U.S. Dollars depending on your length of stay. A rental can offer you the option of bringing or buying your own food and allow you to feel more settled than staying in a motel or hotel.
If you are planning an Ocean City vacation in either Maryland or New Jersey, and whether you plan on staying at a bed and breakfast, or renting a place, you are sure to have fun. Happy Travels!
