To spread the news is a long established tradition. From the medieval Town Caller, to local newspapers, to global TV news, it was always the efficient way to keep track of History in the making. Middle age population had news of the Crusades from travelers speaking from the front stairs of the local Church, we rely on the daily news to find out what happened on the other side of the world. During World War Two, the BBC World News followed the allied Armies on their way to victory and helped the rest of the world understand the issues at stake. Nowadays, we all watch Canada news daily to know what's going on and how it will affect us. Our world has shrunk over the years; one can live in Paris or Delhi and regularly watch the Toronto news. The air wave gives us access to the information we need to know, and whether one favors CBC news, CTV news, or any other Networks, the information is always there, 24 hours a day, at the tip of a finger.
