Talk about the Tennis any time, and you surely won’t miss the name Nadal in all of them. Rafael Nadal is Spanish, born fully as Rafael Nadal Parera on the 3rd day of June 1986 in Manacor, Majorca. Nadal's first win was at age eight when he won an under-12 regional tennis championship. It’s after this win that Toni Nadal, his uncle and a former Tennis player, intensified his training emphasizing on his usage of the left hand for an added advantage on the Tennis pitch. At age 12, Rafael Parera Nadal won under his age group the Spanish and European Tennis titles.

Under Nadal's name is a stream of records starting with the youngest man ever to reach the third round at Wimbledon after 1984's Boris Becker and being the youngest singles victor in a Davis Cup final. His Tennis career began to shine brighter in 2004 when he played his first match with world number one- Roger Federer-whom he defeated and won in straight sets. During the 2004-2005 season, Nadal rose from world No.51 to world No.5, following the frequent straight wins in major matches. Nadal bravely stopped Roger Federer from achieving a career Grand Slam when he defeated him in the French Open of 2005. This crucial defeat increased his world ranking to being world No.3. After that, Nadal lost second round of play in the Gerry Weber Open, 2005 to Gilles Muller.

On 25th July 2005, Rafael Nadal's ranking rose to world No.2 after he obtained a consecutive 16 match win plus three consecutive tournaments wins. He became world No. 1 after the Beijing Olympics, but was dethroned after by up to date world No.1 Roger. After the bravely fought victory over Jo-Wilfred Tsonga in the Paris Masters that Nadal proved he can still world No. 1. Nadal will be facing Novak Djokovic in the semis of the same.
