Visiting a museum is a great way to learn while having fun. Here are some information about Canadian museums.

If you are in Montreal and art interests you, you need to go to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. The current exhibtions are Sacred Africa (Ancient Art from Sub-Saharan Africa), Pellan: The Prints and Impressions of Humanity: The Freda and Irwin Browns Collection of Master Prints. Some interesting exhibitions focusing on the art of Cuba, Emily Carr or Walt Disney are coming in the next months. Look up the museum's official website to find more information about those.

The Museum of Civilization situated in Ottawa is known to be the largest and the most popular museum in Canada. Permanent exhibits include the Grand Hall, The First Peoples Hall, The Canadian Postal Museum, The Canadian Children's Museum and The Canada Hall. The Canadian War Museum, also in Ottawa, focuses on different wars such as the World War II, the Cold War, etc. You can observe vehicles, artefacts as well as artillery there.

If you are going to Vancouver, you can visit the Vancouver Maritime Museum if you want to learn more about the Canadian maritime history, culture, art, industry and techhnology. If you are also going to Victoria, the Royal BC Museum is a great place to spend a day. There, you will learn the story of British-Columbia. It is situated in downtown Victoria, near the Empress Hotel.
