Mother's day is a holiday that honours mothers and it is celebrated in many countries around the world. On this day, mothers receive gifts from their children.

When is mother day? It depends on where you live. For example, it is the second Sunday in February in Norway, it is on May 10 in much of South America countries, on August 12 in Thailand, etc. Mother Day in Canada is celebrated on the second Sunday of May.

The best mother day gift has to be something that your mother really love. You can give her chocolate, jewels, candy, a breakfast in bed, anything you have made up, gift certificates, dinner at a restaurant, things related to cooking or gardening, etc.

As for moder day cards, many websites offer you free cards that you can send to your mother. There are even animated cards you can choose from to show your love to your Mom. Of course, card stores will sell tons of different cards for Mother's day. I do believe that the best card you could ever give to your Mom is a blank card in which you have written the text all by yourself. That way, you can tell everything you want to say to your Mom!
