From over thousands of years, there are several things which are mysterious about the ancient Mayan calendar. Ancient Mayan societies are predicting the end of world in 2012 from thousands of years ago. This calendar is running from 5126 year of era and one thing which is very common in this calendar is the end of world in 2012. This mystery is very scary for all of us but for the followers of Mayan calendar 2012, this is the most exciting thing. They will celebrate when according to them world will complete a whole cycle which has been moving from thousands of years.

According to Mayan calendar predictions, the sun will be aligned at the centre of Milky Way. Due to this movement of sun, world will suffer a lot because all the energies, earth gets from the sun will be disturbed. Mayan calendar astrology is also very particular about this statement that’s why it is named as winter Solstice 2012. But if we talk about the scholars of today’s modern world, they deny this fact. They say against this statement and deny this prediction as a whole. They believe that Mayan clander ends in 2012 but they don’t believe on end of world.

According to them, people of Mesoamerica have taken the other meanings of sun alignment which is totally wrong and against the scientific theory. Scholars believe that there are no authentic records or knowledge which authenticates this information and myth so it’s hard to have faith on this prediction.
