Just 45 minutes via seaplane or 4 hours by speedboat----you’ll find yourself in Kuredu Island Resort (about 80 miles’ distance from the capital city of Male). After working in an MNC for 3 years and exhausting myself completely (some of the experienced ones will agree), a row with my ex-boss (now) gave me my well-deserved break…And I exhausted myself a little more in a few more flights to rest my feet (& soul) on the sun-soaked white beaches of Maldives.
Maldives is a group of small islands dispersed on the azure-blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Besides kayaking over the crystal clear waters, my alternative major attraction was snorkeling. Coral reefs, turtles, tropical fishes---starfish, eels, urchins & hundreds of others, the names of which I’m unaware of---are among the few visitors you’ll come across while snorkeling. The vibrant blue, yellow & orange ones may also peck you a hi!! Sting rays & reef sharks too…Geee!!....that’s scary!!!
The canvas of the pristine blue skies fusing with the silver sands through the aqua blue lining of the ocean is ethereal. Oh man! I have no vocabulary to pen down this scenic Beauty! It is where you can’t help but bond with Nature…And one of the best decisions I ever took in my entire life (besides resigning from my job and choosing Maldives for a change) was to go alone. This scenic Goddess would Herself captivate you with Her paragon beauty and you’ll find your best companion in NATURE in Her most untamed yet juvenile forms…And I won’t be surprised if you too find yourself being admonished by Nature---like the kind spoken by Tennyson or Wordsworth.
Maldives is certainly a Heavenly experience on earth…Hush!!..listen…..the MYSTIC MALDIVES BECKONS……..
