The Large Hadron Collider or LHC test is the most controversial experiment in recent years. Carried out by European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) has been prepared for more than ten years and it was ready in October, to be activated with the aim of replicating the start of the universe, the so-called Big Bang. In the project worked more than two thousand scientists from 34 countries and was built in Geneva. But also from around the world the Large Hadron Collider began to have resistance and more strongly around July, when it was confirmed that in September would started such a giant.
The people begun to assured that the Large Hadron Collider was a danger for the planet, and could it be the end of the world, because maybe it could generate a black hole or perhaps a matter that could not be controlled, leading to the destruction of the planet. Finally on September 10 the Large Hadron Collider was put into operation and were the first results, without any catastrophe happens. But the second test failed and we will have to wait until the first months of 2009 to see the next step of the experiment.
