Do you know what your childs' favorite kids shows are? You need to be sure that what your child is watching on TV is age appropriate! You can find lists of kid shows as well as what the content of certain TV shows for kids are in Time magazine as well as World magazine. Check out these magazines' web sites! So often these days there are TV shows for kids that have content that is not suitable for children. Kids need to be able to be kids for as long as possible!

One channel that has some excellent kids television shows is PBS kids shows! They have some very educational kids shows as well as kids shows that allow kids to be kids. Many of the kids shows on PBS promote reading, exploring, science and imagination! Take a look at the web site www.pbskids.org for lists of shows for kids & kid show activities! Another good channel for kids is the Discovery channel! There are a lot of Discovery kids shows on television that are great shows for kids!

Many times, parents are not able to actually sit down and watch a kids show with their children.
