Being a student myself, I have to find a summer job in order to save up some money. It can be easy to find a summer job if you know the right places to send your resume to.

Summer jobs for high school students may be in restaurants, stores, or even babysitting.

The Government of Canada provides information about summer jobs through its website dedicated to youth. On this website, you can post your resume or look in the job bank and apply to the jobs that interest you.

If you are interested in teaching, it is possible to find summer teaching jobs. These are mostly aimed to college students. They offer them the possibility to teach subjects like a foreign language to little kids. This is a great experience and there are also summer teaching jobs abroad like in Korea, China, Japan or England if you want to go in another country.

Summer jobs overseas are also another possibility. There exist several organisms which will help you to find a job in another country. You usually have the choice to work in a bar, an hotel, in the tourism area or in a factory. The great advantage of working overseas is that you have the chance to travel and to learn a new language.
