The comforts of modern life as we know it today are due to the invention ideas of our forefathers and foremothers. Medical invention can be said to be the most important but so do the invention of the light bulb and electricity. The entertainment industry would not be the same without the invention of the television. The television was a new invention who plays a very central role in our culture and although it threatened by the Internet, it still has a long way to go before it can be effectively replaced. When a person is developing a new invention he has to think of obtaining invention patents in order to protect it and also to be able to rightfully earn financially from it, without others copying it or claiming it as their own. Invention development can be long and tedious but the fruits can be very profitable. Sometimes inventions are discovered by sheer accident. Necessity leads to invention for example some canadian inventions have been made to suit the climate or land for example the snowmobile, the Kayak, or the basketball. Alexander Graham Bell is one of the most famous canadian inventors, being the inventor of the telephone system that is the most important business tool to date.
