Instead of getting a piece of paper when someone sends you a fax, fax internet receive is merely an attachment that you open. It is a sort of photograph of the page that the person sent. Having an internet fax is nothing other than simply getting a number which has roughly the same number of digits as an ordinary telephone number, except that no phone exists. The person receiving free fax over internet will either get a fax in the ordinary way that prints out on paper at the other end, or if that person also makes use of internet fax email it will arrive as an email with an attachment, which will be your letter. The point of the exercise is that there is no internet fax machine involved. You are using your PC as a fax machine and doing away with the old fashioned type.
