The concept of the improvisation games is an idea born in the head of two comedians, Robert Gravel ans Yvon Leduc. In 1978, the first official season of the LNI was born !
A game of improvisation last 90 minutes, separated in 3 period of 30 minutes, very strict rules, no costume where you can pretend to be somebody else and a time limit, not to mention the themes imposed by the referee. The skating rink of the LNI saw some great comedian figures like Claude Legault, Patrice L'Écuyer, Sophie Cadieux, a lot of talent has even been born during some LNI matches.
This year, the LNI celebrated it's 30th year in the making, if you didn't had the chance to see a game because the season is over since the month of may, we suggest to book in advance some nights in your agenda to go see some matches always more entertaining then ever!
