In the fifties, when home owning boomed, magazines like Good Housekeeping and better home and garden helped the ladies of the time improve their home and garden decor . Gardening and decorating techniques have developed over the years, but let's face it, home and garden design is still a gift that not all of us is born with. Fortunately, the many home and garden stores are full of suggestions and a visit to home and garden com can generate plenty of ideas. home and garden shows are also a good place to help us decide whether we'll go for annual or perennial flowers; hard wood floor or ceramics. In this cocooning society our ours, our home and garden are the two places where we spend much of our time. Most of us will likely devote a lot of energy and money to create the right environment for our family. So let's be wise. A home and garden magazine or our local home and garden store will provide plenty of ideas, let's pick up those we like best and work our way around them to create our own personal touch.
