An ice hockey jersey is what hockey players wear when competing against each other in the game of hockey. Children all over Canada and the United states who play hockey hope that one day they will get drafted in the NHL and finally put on an NHL hockey jersey for the first time. A jersey is more than what separates one from his opponent, but a badge of honor that represents the team you play for and its history. Some say the feeling of representing your country by skating on Olympic ice wearing an olympic hockey jersey is breath taking. I know I always dreamed of wearing my team canada hockey jersey and skating with Canada's top players on the ice. By wearing a jersey you define yourself as a member of the team, the unit that sticks together and plays hard together to reach the ultimate goal, the Stanley Cup or the Gold Medal. Although a team jersey is what it is, there is a diferent identity in each one. Each one has its own hockey jersey lettering that adds your identification to the history of the team. Each player has his name and his number sewn into the jersey and when he skates on the ice wearing the colors, the numbers, the name and the badge the game is on.
