One of the biggest losses that Hollywood has had this year is the young Heath Ledger because in his short career made several notable movies, including the latest, The Dark Knight, where he performed so masterful to the Joker. More than one film critic said that the Joker of Heath Ledger is the best in history, surpassing Jack Nickolson one. His death was a few months before the premiere of the film and the Australian actor was never able to enjoy the excellent reviews that millions of magazines, websites and TV programs dedicate to his rol.
Prior to this success Heath Ledger was in another movie that brought him several positive criticism: Brokeback Mountain, for which he was nominated for an Oscar. Besides the controversy of the film -homosexual love- gave plenty to talk about for months, the press didn’t stop to talk about his role. Years before, Heath Ledger starring Ned Kelly, a hero in his homeland, which had a history worthy of highlight and which also showed it as a very mature and versatile actor.
Unfortunately for Heath Ledger will not continue to shine in the movies or photos, since the January 22, 2008, when was found dead in his room by an accidental drug overdoses, leaving world with his talent.
