The secret for a healthy life lies in a healthy nutrition and in the amount and constancy with which you use to eat. The secret, if that is one, consists on developing different nutritional habits that help you get a healthy body and a bright imagination, because, as ancient Greek said, ‘there is always a healthy mind in a healthy body’. And it is true. Studies have shown that healthy foods not only benefit the organism, but the mind too.
That doesn’t mean, of course, that healthy diets will help increase intelligence; but that the brain would get everything that it needs in order to be prepared for cognition tasks, tasks that, of course, must be searched by the owner of the healthy brain. It is the responsability of the owner of intelligence (you!) to seek challenges to solve, to face difficulties that force our brain to work, because intelligence is such a thing that has to be exercised, if you don’t want to flush it away down the ignorance, that waits for those that don’t like to think.
Imagine, just for a second: your brain is matter, as matter is the plastic and metallic parts that compose your PC or laptop. Matter, atoms, superstrings, call it whatever you want, but it is substance, the same substance that forms all known universe... And intelligence has happened... Can think an atom ? What is intelligence anyway?
Intelligence tells you that you should have a healthy body, because, said in short words, a healthy body lasts (with luck, of course!) more than a sick one. Intelligence tells us all sometimes the truth, but we don’t listen: better healthy snacks than those greasy chips, but we decide the chips... Well, what’s intelligence?
