Who wrote the Harry Potter books?
J.K. Rowling is reknown worldwide as the wealthiest novelest in history. for her Harry Potter books.
Not so bad for a single mom, living on state benefits at the time she finished her first novel right? Today her fortune is estimated to be just under 1 billion dollars. Forbes has named her the second richest female entertainer in the world, right after Oprah Winfrey.
Although she started writing fantasy fiction at a young age, she did not take it seriously until after a divorce and returning to live with family. Broke and with nowhere to go she finished her first Harry potter book.

It started with her first novel Harry potter and the philosopher’s stone, which came out in 1997. The other novels in the series included Harry potter and the goblet of fire, and Harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban. These books have been made into Harry potter movies, video games, pictures of Harry potter, and even Harry potter fan fiction. And all sorts of assorted merchandise Including Harry potter and the half blood prince, and Harry potter and the chamber of secrets.
People even love to take the Harry potter online quiz.

The Harry potter series has collectively sold over 325 million copies. Man that's a lot of books. Who doesn't want to be like miss Rowling now?
