Whether it is in the middle of early childhood, in a day-care center or at home, it is easy to create attractive invitation cards for a kid’s anniversary.
To make an invitation card, the children will need the following material: sponges, paint of various colors, bowls, crafting paper, ornamental elements, glue, a pair of scissors, a plastic tablecloth and an apron to avoid staining the furniture and the children’s clothes.
The sponges will be used by the young ones to cut forms, which will be representing a subject of the anniversary: animals, letters, figures, trees, flowers, stars, etc.
Afterward, the children will fold the crafting paper in two to make the birthday card. They will dip the sponge forms into bowls filled with different colors of paint and print them on the crafting paper. The children have to wait until the paint is dry before opening the card. Children can also add, on the invitation card, plenty of ornamental elements: glitter, feathers, photos, drawings, etc.
If the children know how to write, they indicate on the invitation card when the birthday will take place, the hour and the place of the party. Otherwise, under their dictation, transcribe the relevant information. The children can sign the birthday card.
Finally, the last thing to do, for the children, is sliding their invitation card in an envelope, then send it by a post office and wait until the day of their birthday to welcome their guests. Do not forget to put a stamp on the envelopes!
