Groundhog day, a classic film

Bill Murray is one of the best actors that Hollywood has given to the world. And after seen him act in Ghostbusters I thought that he was just a comic guy, but then I saw him one of the best films of the 90s: Groundhog Day where Bill Murray makes a vain and egocentric weather reporter who is trapped in one day forever until he started to learn from their mistakes and in the process he falling in love of his co-worked, interpreted by Andie MacDowell. In the movie Groundhog day there are treated many topics, all related to human beings, because ultimately the film is about life and what we do with it. Finally, after Groundhog Day storm time left its stagnation and Bill was released from his sentence.

The story of Groundhog day is based on Greek mythology. There was a king named Sisyphus who make angry at Prometheus, who left him blind and forced to push a rock uphill forever. The difference with this film is that the king never have the opportunity of fulfill his sentence. If you have not yet seen the Groundhog day dvd you must rental it and enjoy this classic film.
