A greenhouse is basically a building where plants are cultivated. That way, it is easier to control the humidity and plants can grow in an artifical environment that imitates their natural one.

Building a greenhouse can be easy and simple. It can be attached to the house or garage or it can be a separate structure. The most common type of greenhouse design is the freestranding shed-type greenhouse.

A greenhouse kit is the best if you do not want to spend a lot of time building it. In fact, you only have to put all the pieces together and your greenhouse is built. This kind of kit costs at least $3,000. The price depends on the size of the greenhouse and on the material it is made with. Greenhouse frames can be in metal, wood or plastic. Then, you may need greenhouse supplies such as benches and shelves, control and electrical devices, grow lights, heaters, meters, ventilation, shade cloths and watering systems. Greenhouse accessories are usually sold in horticultural stores. They can also be found on the Internet.
