Green Day is an American rock band formed in 1989 and composed of Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar, lead vocals), Mike Dirnt (bass) and Tré Cool (drums).

Green Day albums are 39/Smooth, Kerplunk!, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning and American Idiot. It was Dookie that helped them to become famous. Green Day American Idiot album won the Grammy Award for the Record of the Year in 2006. It includes hits such as American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Holiday, Wake Me Up When September Ends and Jesus of Suburbia.
